Thomasin was born on Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas to a Marine lieutenant colonel 14 years ago. However, her father and mother were unable to have any more children and soon as she was able to attend grade school they moved Mildenhall, England.
Even though her formative years were in the UK, the Marine officer instilled American values into his young daughter. Thomasin also enjoyed the easy living on the Royal Air Force Base in Mildenhall. Because of her personality, she grew up a young tough hellcat in her school.
Thomasin's magical nature became evident whenever she got into fights or got angry. Any water in a small container would began to boil even though there was no heat present. Despite her displaying such traits, she never considered magic being a real thing until her best friend showed her indisputable evidence.
